Additional Features
Locked Camera Mapping
Locked camera mapping opens up the possibilities for placing textures. With this new feature, you can project an image onto your geometry from a fixed camera position. This allows for more accurate placement if your goal is to map a texture in the same position as the real world product.
This is especially great for architectural visualization. If you have a photograph of a house and you can recreate the camera position in KeyShot, then with this feature, you can easily project that image onto your geometry.
How it Works
After adding your texture or label to your material, change the Mapping Type to Camera. Then, from within the Size and Mapping section, klick on Lock Camera Map . With this setting enabled, your image remains locked in that position despite any changes you might make to the camera.
