Follow the prompts and click&nbsp;<em>Finish<\/em>. Re-start or launch 3ds Max.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"id-3dsMax-KeyShotPluginMenu\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"KeyShot_Plugin_Menu\"><\/span>KeyShot Plugin Menu<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Once installed, a KeyShot plugin menu will appear inside 3ds Max. The KeyShot plugin menu has a few options:&nbsp;<em>Render, Update<\/em>, <em>Export,<\/em> <em>Export Animation<\/em>, and<em>&nbsp;Settings.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Render<\/strong><br>Use&nbsp;<em>Render<\/em>&nbsp;to transfer the 3D model and animations from 3ds Max to KeyShot.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Update<\/strong><br>Use&nbsp;<em>Update<\/em>&nbsp;while your KeyShot scene is open to update changes made in 3ds Max.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Export<\/strong><br>Use&nbsp;<em>Export<\/em>&nbsp;to export your geometry as a .BIP file that you can share with other KeyShot users. KeyShot will not launch.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Export Animation<\/strong> <br>Use&nbsp;<em>Export Animation<\/em> to export each frame of your animation as individual .BIP files that you can share with other KeyShot users. KeyShot will not launch.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Settings<\/strong><br><em>Settings<\/em>&nbsp;provides additional export options for curves (hair), lights (photometric), animations, cameras, and layers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"id-3dsMax-HowToUseThePlugin\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"How_To_Use_The_Plugin\"><\/span>How To Use The Plugin<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Open your scene or model in 3ds Max.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click&nbsp;<em>Render<\/em>&nbsp;under the KeyShot plugin tab. The plugin will launch KeyShot and transfer the 3D model from 3ds Max to KeyShot.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>To update any changes made in 3ds Max, click the&nbsp;<em>Update&nbsp;<\/em>command&nbsp;while KeyShot is open.&nbsp;All KeyShot materials, textures, labels, animations, transformations, cameras, and lighting in the scene will be preserved.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>To export your 3DS Max scene as a .bip file, click&nbsp;<em>Export<\/em>.
