Es ist als Hauptlichtquelle zum Beleuchten von Szenen gedacht. Um andere Geometrie in der Echtzeitansicht beleuchten zu k\u00f6nnen, muss f\u00fcr das Material Emittierend \u201eGlobale Beleuchtung\u201d in der Registerkarte \u201eBeleuchtung\u201d aktiviert sein. Ebenso wird Indirekte Bodenbeleuchtung zur Beleuchtung der Grundebene ben\u00f6tigt, wie dargestellt. Dem Material k\u00f6nnen Farbtexturen zugewiesen werden und alle in der Textur enthaltenen Farben werden als Licht ausgesendet. Bei der Verwendung von emittierenden Materialien ist es ratsam, in den Bildstil-Einstellungen \u201eBloom-Effekt&#8221; zu aktivieren.
