While KeyShot does not offer a \u201cdeformation\u201d animation, it does still support deformations set up in CAD and exported to an Alembic (.ABC) or FBX<sup>1<\/sup> file.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><strong>How to import your deformation animations:<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>1.<\/strong>&nbsp;Click the Import button (or File &gt; Import) in KeyShot.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>2.<\/strong>\u00a0Browse to your Alembic (.ABC) or FBX file and click Open.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>3.<\/strong>\u00a0From the\u00a0<em>KeyShot Import<\/em>\u00a0dialogue >\u00a0<em>Animation<\/em>\u00a0enable\u00a0<em>Entire Animation <\/em>and\u00a0confirm your\u00a0<em>Import<\/em>.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>4.<\/strong>&nbsp;Click&nbsp;<em>Play<\/em>&nbsp;in the animation timeline to play a preview in real-time. You may also click and drag the time scrubber in the timeline.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The file will import and appear as an animation node on the<em>\u00a0Animation Timeline<\/em>\u00a0where it may be positioned and re-sized.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">After the import is finished KeyShot will cache the animation as .luxT files for faster loading and smaller file sizes. The cache files are located in the <em>resource folder &gt; Animations<\/em>. A .bip file needs these .luxT files to load the animation.
