Here you can load the material directly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"MaterialImporter-U3M(Unified3DMaterial)\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"U3M_Unified_3D_Material\"><\/span>U3M (Unified 3D Material)<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>When you import U3M files, KeyShot will convert them into the Generic material and add them into the selected folder in the Material Library. More information on u3m format can be found&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.u3m.info\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">here<\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/www.u3m.info\/\"><\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"MaterialImporter-SubstancePainter(TextureSets)\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Substance_Painter_Texture_Sets\"><\/span>Substance Painter (Texture Sets)<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"MaterialImporter-ExportingTexturesetsinSubstancePainter.\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Exporting_Texture_sets_in_Substance_Painter\"><\/span>Exporting Texture sets in Substance Painter.<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>In order to use the\u00a0<em>Material Importer tool<\/em>\u00a0to apply Substance Painter Texture Sets to your model, you will need to select the\u00a0<em>KeyShot 9+<\/em>\u00a0preset when exporting. If it is not available in your version of Substance Painter, you may find the installer to add the export preset on the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/manual.keyshot.com\/plugins\/manual\/substance-painter\/\">Substance Painter plugin page<\/a>\u00a0along with instructions on how to install it. Substance Painter projects that have been exported with the correct settings, will have\u00a0<em>.sp<\/em>\u00a0added to the folder name.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"MaterialImporter-ImportingintoKeyShot\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Importing_into_KeyShot\"><\/span>Importing into KeyShot<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-9d6595d7 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\" style=\"flex-basis:66.66%\">\n<p>The Material Importer converts Texture Sets from Substance Painter into the Generic material. Because Substance Painter Projects generally are created for a specific model the generated materials will not (unlike the other formats) be added to the Library automatically. The Materials will be made available, in a sort of temporary library, from where they can be applied to the model by drag and drop.
