launch it via:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Main menu under&nbsp;<em>Window &gt; Studios&#8230;<\/em>&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/li><li>The Studios icon&nbsp;<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"32\" height=\"32\" class=\"wp-image-2998\" style=\"width: 16px\" src=\"https:\/\/manual.keyshot.com\/keyshot11\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/6\/2020\/07\/studios_icon.png\" alt=\"\">&nbsp;in the&nbsp;<em>Ribbon<\/em><\/li><li>Hotkey: U<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>In the top of the Studios window is a list of all the Studios in the scene. The new Studio will be pre-populated with the active elements in the scene &#8211; but only the&nbsp;active&nbsp;<em>Camera<\/em>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<em>Environment<\/em>&nbsp;are included (checked) by default.&nbsp;You can always check\/uncheck&nbsp;any checkbox to include\/exclude that element from the Studio.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To modify a Studio simply select a different&nbsp;<em>Camera<\/em>,&nbsp;<em>Environment<\/em>,&nbsp;<em>Model Set<\/em>&nbsp;or&nbsp;<em>Multi-Material<\/em>&nbsp;from the drop-down menus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"Studios-Camera\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"32\" height=\"32\" class=\"wp-image-5619\" style=\"width: 20px\" src=\"https:\/\/manual.keyshot.com\/keyshot11\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/6\/2020\/07\/camera_icon.png\" alt=\"\">&nbsp;Camera<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Select which&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/manual.keyshot.com\/keyshot11\/manual\/cameras\/\">Camera<\/a>&nbsp;You want to use in your studio. If this is not set, the studio will use the active&nbsp;<em>Environment<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"Studios-ImageStyle\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"32\" height=\"32\" class=\"wp-image-5626\" style=\"width: 20px\" src=\"https:\/\/manual.keyshot.com\/keyshot11\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/6\/2020\/07\/project_image_icon-1.png\" alt=\"\">&nbsp;Image Style<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>You can add an&nbsp;<em><a href=\"https:\/\/manual.keyshot.com\/keyshot11\/manual\/image\/image-styles\/\">Image Style<\/a><\/em>&nbsp;to your Studio, this includes among other things Frontplates. If no Image Style is selected the active Image style will be used.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"Studios-ModelSets\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"32\" height=\"32\" class=\"wp-image-5628\" style=\"width: 20px\" src=\"https:\/\/manual.keyshot.com\/keyshot11\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/6\/2020\/07\/model_sets_icon.png\" alt=\"\">&nbsp;Model Sets<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Multiple&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/manual.keyshot.com\/keyshot11\/manual\/models-tab\/model-sets\/\">Model Sets<\/a>&nbsp;can be added to a Studio by checking the corresponding boxes within the Model Sets drop-down menu.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"Studios-Multi-Materials\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"32\" height=\"32\" class=\"wp-image-4387\" style=\"width: 20px\" src=\"https:\/\/manual.keyshot.com\/keyshot11\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/6\/2020\/07\/multi-material.png\" alt=\"\">&nbsp;Multi-Materials<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>When The&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/manual.keyshot.com\/keyshot11\/manual\/materials\/multi-materials\/\">Multi-Material&nbsp;<\/a>is checked, you can select which material (of each of the multi-materials in the scene) you want displayed in the Studio.&nbsp;Select a multi-material in the drop-down and you will see a list of the materials (within that Multi-Material) below the drop-down.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-genesis-blocks-gb-columns gb-layout-columns-1 one-column\"><div class=\"gb-layout-column-wrap gb-block-layout-column-gap-2 gb-is-responsive-column\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-genesis-blocks-gb-column info-box gb-block-layout-column\"><div class=\"gb-block-layout-column-inner\">\n<h6 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"note\">Note<\/h6>\n\n\n\n<p>When you are using Studios with the Configurator, any Model Sets\/Multi-Materials that are selectable in the configuration will not be considered to be tied to a studio. This means that only Model Sets containing &#8220;props&#8221; will swich with the Studio.&nbsp;This also applies to multi-materials where only materials of props can change with a studio.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"Studios-Thumbnails\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Thumbnails\"><\/span>Thumbnails<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>When a Studio is created a thumbnail is automatically generated. If the Camera is set to&nbsp;<em>Free Camera<\/em>&nbsp;the thumbnail will show the environment.&nbsp;You can generate thumbnails for each Studio by clicking the&nbsp;<em>Render Thumbnail<\/em>&nbsp;button in the bottom of the window. This will create a thumbnail using the active elements of the Real-Time view<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"Studios-ThumbnailSettings\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"32\" height=\"32\" class=\"wp-image-3220\" style=\"width: 20px\" src=\"https:\/\/manual.keyshot.com\/keyshot11\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/6\/2020\/07\/settings_dropdown_icon.png\" alt=\"\"> Thumbnail Settings<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-9d6595d7 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Preview size:<\/strong>&nbsp;Set the size of the thumbnails in the list, or choose not to show thumbnails in the list.<\/li><li><strong>Thumbnail Render Settings:<\/strong><ul><li><strong>Samples<\/strong>&nbsp;&#8211; set the number of samples you want to use for rendering each thumbnail.<\/li><li><strong>Use environment thumbnail for Studios without thumbnails<\/strong>&nbsp;&#8211; if a studio does not have a camera included the thumbnail can either be rendered from the free camera or the thumbnail can show the environment thumbnail.<\/li><li><strong>Render High Res<\/strong>&nbsp;&#8211; if you need the thumbnails in better resolution &#8211; eg. for use with the Configurator<\/li><\/ul><\/li><li><strong>Render Thumbnails<\/strong>&nbsp;&#8211; This will Render all thumbnails. However, under the&nbsp;<em>New Studio Settings&nbsp;<\/em>flyout, you can define which components (Camera, Environment, Image Style, Model Sets, Multi-Materials) are used each time you create a new Studio.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"studio-switch-events\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Studio_Switch_events\"><\/span>Studio Switch events<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>If you work with animations you can switch out entire studios as a part of the animation using <em>Studio Switch Events<\/em>.
