There are multiple methods of navigating to the material properties to make changes, but all editing is done in the Material Tab<\/a><\/em> of the Project Window<\/em>.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

You can access the Material Properties using any of the following four methods:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Double-click a part on a model in the Real-time View<\/em>.<\/li>
  2. Double-click the material thumbnail in the In-Project Library<\/em>.<\/li>
  3. Right-click a part in the scene tree and select Edit Material<\/em>.<\/li>
  4. Select the part in the Scene Tree<\/em> and select Edit Material <\/em>from the Properties<\/em> pane.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    Any of these methods will activate the Project<\/em> Window<\/em> > Material<\/em> > Properties<\/em> for the material assigned to the part. All material edits made will update interactively in the Real-time View<\/em>. For more detailed information on material settings and types please see the Material Types.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    If you are a KeyShot Pro user you can also use the Material Graph<\/a><\/em> for editing the materials<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
