This is the camera that is active in the Real-Time View as well. This allows you to adjust the camera just as you would in the Real-time View.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"CameraType-Perspective\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Perspective\"><\/span>Perspective<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The Perspective option changes the view mode to display a perspective view of the entire scene.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"CameraType-Orthographic\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Orthographic\"><\/span>Orthographic<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The Orthographic option changes the view mode to display an orthographic view of the entire scene.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-genesis-blocks-gb-columns gb-layout-columns-1 one-column\"><div class=\"gb-layout-column-wrap gb-block-layout-column-gap-2 gb-is-responsive-column\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-genesis-blocks-gb-column info-box gb-block-layout-column\"><div class=\"gb-block-layout-column-inner\">\n<h6 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"note\">Note<\/h6>\n\n\n\n<p>Selecting&nbsp;<em>Perspective<\/em>&nbsp;or&nbsp;<em>Orthographic<\/em>&nbsp;will unlink the&nbsp;<em>Real-time View<\/em>&nbsp;from the&nbsp;<em>Geometry View<\/em>&nbsp;allowing you to control the two views independently of each other. However, you will still see the real-time movement and position of the active camera.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"CameraType-ControllingtheActivecamera\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Controlling_the_Active_camera\"><\/span>Controlling the Active camera<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>When you use the&nbsp;<em>Perspective<\/em>&nbsp;or&nbsp;<em>Orthographic<\/em>&nbsp;camera inside the Geometry View, you can control the Active Camera of the Real-Time View<em>.&nbsp;<\/em>As the camera is moved in the Geometry View, the Real-time View and camera properties in the Project window update as well. The active camera is highlighted in red, while any other cameras in the scene are gray. You can switch to a camera by clicking it.<br>If a camera is locked, you will need to right-click and select&nbsp;<em>Unlock Camera<\/em>&nbsp;to unlock the camera prior to moving it<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Active Camera can be manipulated with a move tool inside the Geometry View. This feature makes positioning cameras in interiors much easier.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"CameraType-MoveActiveCameraPosition\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Move_Active_Camera_Position\"><\/span>Move Active Camera Position<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>This changes the actual position of the camera. With the camera unlocked, right-click in the&nbsp;Geometry View&nbsp;and select&nbsp;<em>Move Active Camera Position<\/em>. Use the Move Tool to change the position.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Show<\/strong>: Toggle the visibility of the Translation and Rotation handles.<\/li><li><strong>Keep View Direction<\/strong>: When&nbsp;<em>Keep View Direction<\/em>&nbsp;is on, the translation will move the camera parallel to the field of view, and not pivot the camera target which is the default behavior.<\/li><li><strong>Axis<\/strong>: Select Local or Global axis as the base of the Translation. Note that Rotation can only be done based on the Local scale.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"CameraType-MoveActiveCameraTarget\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Move_Active_Camera_Target\"><\/span>Move Active Camera Target<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>This changes the \u2018look at\u2019 point of the camera. With the camera unlocked, right-click in the&nbsp;Geometry View&nbsp;and select&nbsp;<em>Move Active Camera Target<\/em>. The Move Tool will appear on the Camera Target. Use the Move Tool to change the position.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Keep View Direction<\/strong>: When&nbsp;<em>Keep View Direction<\/em>&nbsp;is on, the translation will move both the camera and camera target, and not pivot the camera which is the default behavior.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"CameraType-SavingActiveCameraChanges\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Saving_Active_Camera_Changes\"><\/span>Saving Active Camera Changes<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Any changes you have made to a camera are still&nbsp;<em>unsaved<\/em>&nbsp;and will be reset if you switch camera.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Right-click and select&nbsp;Save Camera&nbsp;to update the current camera position or target, or select&nbsp;Add Camera&nbsp;to create a new camera.
