If you have a previous KeyShot version installed on your PC\/Mac, when installing KeyShot for the first time, the\u00a0Migration Assistant<\/em>\u00a0will help you transfer your settings and resources to your new KeyShot. You can choose to migrate Settings, Resources or both.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Migrating Settings<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Preferences<\/h6>\n\n\n\n

Any alterations you have made to the default Preferences<\/em> setup will be transferred.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Workspaces<\/h6>\n\n\n\n

You won’t have to re-create your favorite Workspaces<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Swatches saved in Color Picker<\/h6>\n\n\n\n

If you have added any color swatches to the the Color Picker<\/em>, these will also be transferred.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

License Information<\/h6>\n\n\n\n
  • Node Locked license:<\/strong>\u00a0Information about name, company etc. will be prefilled in the\u00a0Registration<\/em>\u00a0dialog.<\/li>
  • Floating license:<\/strong>\u00a0KeyShot will connect to the same license server as you used in the previous KeyShot version. If there are no licenses for KeyShot 11 on the server, KeyShot will use the information from the previous version to prefill your server information in the Registration <\/em>dialog.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    Migrating Resources<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    Library resources<\/h6>\n\n\n\n

    All non-stock resources will be copied into the respective KeyShot 11 libraries. Here they will be located in the\u00a0Migrated<\/em>\u00a0folder.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    If you have customized the folder settings all KeyShot 11 resources will be added to your custom folders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Material Templates<\/h6>\n\n\n\n

    Any\u00a0Material Templates<\/em>\u00a0you have created will be copied to KeyShot 11.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Scripts<\/h6>\n\n\n\n
