{"id":7366,"date":"2020-08-11T06:16:04","date_gmt":"2020-08-11T06:16:04","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/bssrdf.com\/?post_type=manual_documentation&amp;p=7366"},"modified":"2020-08-11T06:16:04","modified_gmt":"2020-08-11T06:16:04","slug":"update-your-software-version","status":"publish","type":"manual_documentation","link":"https:\/\/manual.keyshot.com\/keyshot10\/manual\/update-your-software-version\/","title":{"rendered":"Update Your Software Version"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Manager, Workers, and Clients should all run the same version of KeyShot Network Rendering.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After an update, the Manager will automatically update connected Workers, but each Client (Monitors) will need to be updated individually.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"UpdateYourSoftwareVersion-UpdatetheManagerandWorkers\">Update the Manager and Workers<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>If Update Checking is enabled, the update service in the monitor will let you know when a new version is available. But you can also check for updates via the&nbsp;<em>Main menu &gt; Help &gt; Check for Updates<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>1. Update the Manager &#8211; on the computer acting as Manager you can update KeyShot Network Rendering in one of the following ways:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Download and install the latest&nbsp;KeyShot Network Rendering update from&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.keyshot.com\/resources\/downloads\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">https:\/\/www.keyshot.com\/resources\/downloads\/<\/a>&nbsp;<\/li><li>Launch the&nbsp;<em>Network Rendering Monitor<\/em>&nbsp;and Click&nbsp;<em>Update<\/em>&nbsp;in the update dialog.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>2. Launch&nbsp;<em>KeyShot Network Configurator<\/em>&nbsp;on your Manager.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>3. Press&nbsp;<em>Close and restart services<\/em>. Your Manager will re-start and all existing workers services will be automatically updated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"UpdateYourSoftwareVersion-UpdateClients(Monitors)\">Update Clients (Monitors)<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Clients need to be connected to a Manager in order to receive information about updates.
