Through environment presets and the ability to modify them or create your own, your scene can be lit just the way you need with everything visible in real-time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You can find environment presets in the&nbsp;<em>Environment Library<\/em>&nbsp;or&nbsp;<em><a href=\"https:\/\/manual.keyshot.com\/keyshot10\/manual\/keyshot-cloud\/\">KeyShot Cloud Library<\/a>.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"AddingEnvironments-EnvironmentList\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Environment_List\"><\/span>Environment List<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The&nbsp;<em>Environment<\/em>&nbsp;tab of the&nbsp;<em>Project<\/em>&nbsp;window includes the ability to set up different Environments and their settings, for fast access and navigation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When a new scene is opened the Environment List is populated with the environment used in the Default Startup Scene specified in the General Preferences. All changes made to the settings will be recorded and saved with that environment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"AddingEnvironments-AddinganEnvironment\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Adding_an_Environment\"><\/span>Adding an Environment<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>You can add environments in the following ways:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Drag and drop from the&nbsp;<em>Environment Library\/KeyShot Cloud Library&nbsp;<\/em>onto the&nbsp;<em>Real-time View<\/em>&nbsp;&#8211; this replaces the current environment.<\/li><li>Double click an environment in the&nbsp;<em>Environment Library&nbsp;<\/em>&#8211; this replaces the current environment<\/li><li>Drag and drop from the&nbsp;<em>Environment Library\/KeyShot Cloud Library&nbsp;<\/em>onto the&nbsp;<em>Real-time View&nbsp;<\/em>while pressing<em>&nbsp;ALT<\/em>&nbsp;&#8211; this adds a new environment in the&nbsp;<em>Environment List<\/em>.<\/li><li>Drag and drop from the&nbsp;<em>Environment Library&nbsp;<\/em>onto the&nbsp;<em>Environment List<\/em>&nbsp;&#8211; this adds a new environment in the&nbsp;<em>Environment List<\/em><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"AddingEnvironments-CreatingaNewEnvironment\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Creating_a_New_Environment\"><\/span>Creating a New Environment<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Apart from dragging an environment from the library onto the list you can create a new environment in 3 ways:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"32\" height=\"32\" class=\"wp-image-5368\" style=\"width: 20px\" src=\"https:\/\/manual.keyshot.com\/keyshot10\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/7\/2020\/07\/add_environment.png\" alt=\"\">&nbsp;<strong>Add Environment&nbsp;<\/strong>&#8211; Here you almost start from scratch, the new environment is based on the current&nbsp;<em>Settings<\/em>, but there is no lighting environment information. See the&nbsp;<em><a href=\"https:\/\/manual.keyshot.com\/keyshot10\/manual\/environments\/environment-settings\/\">Environment Settings<\/a><\/em>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<em><a href=\"https:\/\/manual.keyshot.com\/keyshot10\/manual\/environments\/hdri-editor\/\">HDRI Editor<\/a><\/em>&nbsp;pages for more information on how to set up the lighting environment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"32\" height=\"32\" src=\"https:\/\/manual.keyshot.com\/keyshot10\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/7\/2020\/07\/duplicate_environment_icon.png\" class=\"wp-image-5371\" style=\"width: 20px\" alt=\"\"> <strong>Duplicate Environment\u00a0<\/strong>&#8211; You can also copy the current environment.
