select&nbsp;<em>Duplicate<\/em>.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>This action duplicates the model along with any assigned materials and animations, to the same level in the&nbsp;<em>Scene Tree<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"DuplicatingModels\/Parts-Duplicatepartorselectionofparts\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Duplicate_part_or_selection_of_parts\"><\/span>Duplicate part or selection of parts<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>This can be done both in the Real-time View and the Scene Tree<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Select the part(s) you want to duplicate<\/li><li>Right click and select&nbsp;<em>Duplicate\/Duplicate Selection<\/em><\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>This will duplicate each part into the group where their original is located.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"DuplicatingModels\/Parts-Hotkey\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Hotkey\"><\/span>Hotkey<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Finally there is a hotkey for duplicating (Ctrl+W\/Cmd+W), which will duplicate the selection as described class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>When you duplicate parts or models, KeyShot will create instanced geometry. This means that KeyShot uses the same geometry data for all instances of a part. Certain features such as Rounded Edges and Update geometry (either from the import dialog or LiveLinking) will apply to all instances of the geometry.
