The Link Duplicate Materials<\/em> feature enables you to quickly locate and link materials from your scene, that are exactly the same. This can be an easy way to help clean up your In-project Library<\/em>.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Right-click in the Material View<\/em> under Project <\/em>Window > Scene tab <\/em>or Project <\/em>Window > Material tab<\/em> and select Link Duplicate Materials <\/em>from the context menu. This will open the Link Duplicate Materials<\/em> dialog. You can link duplicate Materials in 2 ways:  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

  • Select which materials to link by marking the check boxes of the materials in the list on the right.<\/li>
  • Click Link Materials <\/em>to link the selected materials.<\/li>
  • Click Link All Duplicates <\/em>to link all duplicate materials in your scene.<\/li><\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
